We are currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst to support our Nashville corporate office and Americas Division.
 

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for tracking capital budgets/forecasts, prepare division reports and perform analytics on market level data.  The Analyst will also work on ad hoc projects that are supporting the Division’s CEO, CFO, Controller and VP of Physician Services.

 

Examples of Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the preparation and documentation of monthly Division MORs (Monthly Operating Reports)

  • Responsible for the following related to capital expenditures for the Division:

    • Initial review of Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs), tracking against budget and review of market forecasts

    • Preparation of reports and other financial results for fixed assets and capital. 

    • Assist with completion of the annual capital budget along with input from market personnel.

  • Assists with reporting and analysis of intercompany charges

  • Conceive, design and distribute standard and ad hoc reports/analysis for Division and markets

  • Complete all tasks in a timely manner with accurate documentation

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and across teams to achieve the completion of tasks

  • Interact with and assist individual market teams to provide high level end user experience

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required.
  • Three to Five years of experience in accounting and finance is required
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred; experience with EPIC and Lawson a plus
  • Experience with Business Objects and Essbase/Smartview preferred
  • Experience in Microsoft tools required:  Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Must be familiar with standard accounting and finance concepts, practices and procedures
  • Intermediate to advanced experience in MS Excel and Powerpoint required
  • Should possess experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with the ability to prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, meet deadlines, and multi-task in a fast paced and growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time.
