HR Generalist

Shift: Day
Schedule: Full - Time Regular
Essential Functions:
  • Recruit qualified applicants for a wide variety of positions including, but not limited to, Physician Practice staff, administrative staff, and professional staff.

  • Interview applicants, extend offers to qualified applicants, and initiate the respective locations onboarding process.

  • Respond in a timely manner as HR point-of-contact for HR related questions including: LOA, Benefits, employee relations, etc.

  • Point person for all LOA and worker’s compensation inquiries.

  • Guide and familiarize Managers on HR policies, procedures, and laws.

  • Advise employees of HR policy changes, important administrative updates, and benefit changes.

  • Responsible for all HRIS entry and upkeep of HR files for all Physician Practice employees.

  • Present and aide in presenting New Hire Orientation.

  • Participates in Human Resources employment and benefit related events as needed.

  • Other office and administrative responsibilities, assigned by supervisor(s), as deemed necessary

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Higher education may be substituted for experience

Minimum Work Experience

  • 2 – 5 years’ experience in a Human Resources department or setting
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in a healthcare setting

Required Licenses/Certifications

 

  • SHRM-CP/PHR a plus

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Must have strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience with a HRIS
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to include the ability to make presentations and participate in manager training sessions
  • Understanding of State/Federal Laws, Policies, and Regulations
