We are continuing to grow and have an exciting opportunity to join our Accounting team as a Manager, Operations Support.

The Manager, Operations Support will report to the AVP, Operations Support.  The Manager will work with the AVP to expand, improve, and maintain Premier Insights, including testing new system implementations and enhancements, maintaining systems and set-up, training and supporting end users, and creating reports. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain metadata for Insights, including: (1) Updates to the companies, accounts, and departments in the Responsibility Tree; and (2) Coordination, maintenance, and reconciliation of data abstracts and file loads (i.e., general ledger, accounts payable, journal entries, payroll, and revenue)
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all Insights projects
  • Manage department and account requests and oversee standard updates to the Insights Responsibility Tree as well as coordinate updates to other impacted financial systems
  • Work with end users to determine detailed business needs and best practices to be applied
  • Maintain a working understanding of all financial and operation systems to ensure that they stay in sync (i.e., Insights, Laborlytics, Oracle PBCS, Lawson, Data Warehouse)
  • Train and provide ongoing support to end users on Insights
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance and operation of Insights
  • Oversee end-user security
  • Monitor the help desk ticketing system and test functionality of the system
  • Communicate to users and team in a concise,  effective, and timely manner regarding potential issues, status updates, and other matters
  • Must be comfortable working in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
  • Assist with other projects as required


Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree OR Year for Year related experience
  • 3+ years of experience implementing or using operating or reporting systems
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance
  • Experience using Oracle PBCS, Essbase and Planning
  • Advanced organizational skills, work ethic, delivery, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Advanced analytical and judgment skills with the ability to learn quickly, and work with little or no supervision
  • Advanced communication skills, both written and oral
  • Advanced experience with MS Excel
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing data validations and exception reporting
  • Develop and deliver both oral and written communications on key findings, conclusions, and recommendations that are tailored to the appropriate audience
  • Needs to be comfortable with a fast-paced environment, have a high sense of urgency, be good at multi-tasking, a self-starter and be comfortable with ambiguity

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 5+ years of experience implementing or using Premier Insights
  • Experience implementing or using Oracle PBCS, Essbase and Planning
  • Experience implementing or using Laborlytics
  • Project management experience
  • 7+ years of experience in accounting/finance
  • Healthcare / Hospital Operational experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare finance
  • Experience in SQL
