Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

This position is accountable for the provision of safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective care to the patients of Labor & Delivery. Utilizing the nursing process, care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, legal, and regulatory standards. Coordinates continuous assessment utilizing all available data. Evaluates effectiveness of interventions and redirects plan of care as condition indicates. Assures that patient care interventions and activities are directed at the resolution of identified patient problems/needs. With appropriate input from all team members, including patient, family, or significant other; initiates, implements, and documents a patient care plan based on standards of nursing practice, policies, and procedures, established protocols, and professional judgment.

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho. Current BLS required. Must obtain Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring within 3 months of hire. Must obtain NRP and ACLS within 6 months of hire. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in GYN/post-partum.
