We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior EHR Analyst focused on Epic MyChart.

This position is an Epic MyChart expert and is responsible for deep technical and application knowledge of the Epic MyChart product. The Senior EHR Analyst works closely with Marketing, facility leadership and Epic teams to implement, support, and enhance the MyChart product and patient experience.  The Senior EHR Analyst conducts regular day-to-day communications, leads/participates in MyChart Steering committees, reviews software functionality (current state and future state), demonstrates a deep understanding of business operations, and works with Operations, Project Team(s), Marketing, and other constituents to ensure optimal use of MyChart from a patient and operational perspective. 

This position routinely performs an in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the use of Epic software; is responsible for developing and documenting the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with Epic applications; and will design, build, test, install and maintain those solutions.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Marketing and facility leadership to ensure appropriate branding, education, communication, and user access.
  • Work with Application Managers/Directors/etc. and the entire Project Team, to collect, analyze and document business operations and workflow.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, including accomplished product knowledge and the ability to demonstrate the MyChart product to large groups including executives.
  • Complete all tasks in a timely manner with accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and across teams to achieve the completion of tasks.
  • Troubleshoot problem, address questions from users, and provide on-call support on a rotating basis.
  • Make recommendations, review and test changes for enhancements and each new release as assigned.  Ensure the test scripts have been created, reviewed, and updated to reflect proposed workflow solutions.
  • Analyze data conversion needs.
  • Support the training team by keeping trainers abreast of new functionality and system changes.
  • Analyze new functionality in new releases to identify impact.
  • Understand interface requirements and considerations to ensure appropriate testing is done to validate workflow from end to end.
  • Provide assigned on-site support during go-lives and system upgrades.
  • Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, including change management and testing efforts.
  • Work with the Application Manager/Director in the assessment of projects for scoping and timelines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Epic MyChart Certification preferred
  • Epic go-live experience preferred
  • Epic Identity or Ambulatory certification required
  • Team Player
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required
