Under the direction of the Clinical Specialist and RN, the Surgical Tech/Scrub Tech will assist in patient care activities including preparing for surgical procedures, passing and sterilizing surgical instruments, and general assistance during a variety of surgical procedures as abilities allow and as the Kansas Nurse Practice Act allows. Surgical Tech reports to the Director or designee.

  Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Surgical Technologist School or at least 6 months OR experience in similar position.
  • BLS Certified
  • Ability to function as a member of a health-care team carrying out the instructions of the RN.  Must be able prioritize and organize daily activities.  Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to facilitate communication.
