We have an exciting opportunity to join our HR team as a Talent Acquisition Partner in Topka, KS.

The successful candidate will have experience providing full life cycle recruiting and will have a proven track record of delivering recruiting support to Hiring Managers. Following guidelines laid out by requisitions, policies and instructions, the Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for ensuring sufficient qualified candidates are available to staff hospital operations. The Talent Acquisition Partner maintains records of related activities, applicants and applicant flow utilizing applicant tracking software. This position will employ traditional sourcing strategies as well as staying abreast of new creative recruiting ideas. A history of successfully sourcing/ recruiting passive candidates is a must.

Examples of Responsibilities:

  • Identifies, develops, and utilizes various sources of potential applicants to fill staffing needs
  • Optimizes resources to develop and implement pro-active sourcing strategies to ensure on-going pipeline of external candidates and balanced speed/quality of source to hire turnaround.
  • Full Life Cycle Recruitment: Lead/manage all aspects of recruiting ranging from sourcing best talent, conducting effective and insightful screening, making candidate recommendations to hiring managers, coordinating the interview process, enduring strong candidate experience.
  • Maintains applicant database, job posting process, and provides statistical reports.
  • Place, and/or transfer internal and external professionals, technicians and support staff to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Reviews and approves text and placement of recruitment advertising in newspapers, magazines, trade or professional journals, or other media in coordination of system recruitment ads.
  • Maintains contact and may visit high schools, trade schools, colleges, universities, job fairs and related functions as part of the recruiting effort.
  • Ensures adherence to all federal, state and local regulations in the pre-screening and post employee process.
  • Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
  • Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to "service".
  • Meet regularly with hiring managers to provide progress updates on requisition status, calibrate on targeted candidate profiles, seek out feedback on quality of candidate slates, and align on potential changes in course of action and next steps as necessary.
  • Ability to research and source passive candidates
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues, hiring managers, and the public
Requirements:
  • Required: Two (2) years of recruitment experience
  • Recruiting experience in a hospital / healthcare (provider) related environment strongly preferred. Non-healthcare work environments otherwise should reflect heavily regulated industries, solving for a 24/7 workforce.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
  • Must be familiar with EEO and AA programs
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills necessary for screening, interviewing and selecting applicants
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
