The Unit Clerk performs clerical and secretarial duties as assigned, including maintaining the department's daily census, preparing and compiling patient records, scheduling lab work and x-rays according to the physician instructions, and acting as receptionist for the department. The Nursing Assistant performs basic patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal and physical needs and comfort of hospital patients.  May be required to provide services on several different nursing floors during one shift.

Must have a current Idaho CNA certification and BLS certification. Possesses communication/telephone etiquette, organizational skills, ability to operate computer and associated equipment.  Previous experience of one to three months in related work and knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. Basic skills in typing and/or work processing (50 wpm).
