Vice President, Clinical Talent Acquisition

The Vice President, Clinical Talent Acquisition will direct and lead all aspects of nursing and allied health talent acquisition strategies and tactics. This role will implement best practice sourcing, recruiting, pre-screening, and selection tools.

Will work closely with Nursing and HR leadership across the enterprise to ensure strategies meet the business strategies. This position will report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, direct, and lead all aspects of nursing and allied health full cycle recruitment
  • Implement “best practice” strategies for sourcing and acquiring top talent.
  • Develop recruitment initiatives, processes, and tools that align with the strategic growth of the Company.
  • Direct a remote and matrixed team of recruiters to establish and manage productivity goals and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with key nursing and operations executives to fully understand hiring objectives, and provide service with a consultative approach.
  • Build relationships with key internal/external partners to ensure critical skill talent pipelines are developed and maintained.
  • Assist in the development of an employer brand and employee value proposition.
  • Coach and counsel leadership on talent acquisition strategies to increase their proficiency and engagement in sourcing clinical talent.
  • Assist in the identification and implementation of key recruitment technology solutions across the enterprise.
  • Establish key reporting related to clinical hiring processes, trends, and market intelligence.
  • Establish a consistent company recruitment presence at key industry conferences and professional associations.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field is required
  • Minimum of 15+ years of talent acquisition experience with an emphasis on nurse recruitment
  • Proven “best practice” experience in full-cycle recruitment, including pre-screening, behavioral interviewing, and selection techniques.
  • Experience in managing through a matrix organization and managing by remote.
  • Proven high volume clinical recruitment experience is required.
  • Experience in evaluating and selecting applicant tracking systems and tools
  • Ability to manage and negotiate with external suppliers and vendors
