We have an exciting opportunity to join our marketing team as an Epic Analyst, Data Courier Administrator – Project Manager.

Reports to: Portfolio Director

The Epic Analyst, Data Courier Administrator – Project Manager configures and supports the interfaces used to migrate application build between environments using the Data Courier application.

This individual will be a member of the Application Technical Services Team during build, test, implementation and post-implementation of the Epic upgrades. The Data Courier Administrator may be asked to perform any team responsibilities to assist in meeting deliverable deadlines.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Working Daily data courier moves as directed.
  • Configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting issues related to the Data Courier interfaces.
  • Managing the migration and troubleshooting of application build across Epic environments.
  • Maintaining Data Courier interfaces and protection settings in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Instructing application analysts on Data Courier and import/export functionality Resolving CID/UCI synchronization issues.
  • Working with core application team members to import, export, and troubleshoot master file migration.
  • Will work with release managers to manage the implementation and upgrade runbooks as necessary.

Specific Project Deliverables:

Deliverable Description: Data Courier responsibilities as defined by lead DC analysts. Testing materials potentially assist with Test conditions, test data, expected results, actual results Training material content potentially assist with content needed by trainers to finalize training materials. Pre-implementation Assist with Dress Rehearsal and cutover Post-implementation Assist with Issue resolution and documentation Timesheet Weekly report of hours worked in client tool.

Education and Technical:

  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelors' degree in Information Systems / Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent.
  • Tools include MS Project and the MS Office Suite a plus!
  • PMP Certification a plus!

Additional Requirements:

  • Health care experience is required.
  • Current Data Courier Epic certification required.
  • Must have at least three years of recent Data courier experience.
  • Data Courier experience with an upgrade is a plus.
  • On-Site is preferable, and is a must for on-boarding.
  • On-site is required during any go-live or post upgrade command center. Time will be set by the DC leads.
  • Experience coordinating work with other teams across a program excellent communication skills
  • Must have good communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Must have demonstrated good change management, conflict resolution and facilitation skills in previous subject matter.
  • Must have proven track record of accomplishments in technology development and support.
  • Ability and desire to travel up to 25%.
