We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Director, Operational Reporting and Analytics.

The Director, Operational Reporting and Analytics position will report to the AVP, Operations Support.  The Director will work with the AVP and the Operations team leadership to expand, improve and maintain Operations’ reports and analytics using Data Warehouse elements as well as other operation systems.  This position should be skilled in BI best practices, assessments, business processes, in-depth data analysis, requirements gathering, data modeling, relational and multi-dimensional databases. 

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance/Accounting with Information Technology background preferred
  • 7+ years of finance/system analysis experience
  • 2+ years of healthcare experience with decision support/data analysis experience preferred
  • Experience in producing management reporting
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing data validations and exception reporting
  • Healthcare / Hospital Operational experience

 Additional Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of relational databases
  • Business Objects experience
  • Advanced Microsoft skill set including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Conceive, design, and publish standard reports and analyses that answer core business questions
  • Develop and deliver both oral and written communications on key findings, conclusions, and recommendations that are tailored to the appropriate audience
  • Needs to be comfortable with a small, fast-paced environment, have a high sense of urgency, be good at multi-tasking, a self-starter and be comfortable with ambiguity
  • Problem solving skills
  • Great attention to details
  • Enjoys supporting end users
  • Action-orientated with the ability to meet deadlines and turnaround requests in short order
  • Experience in Microsoft Power BI, SQL, SAS, and Hyperion Essbase preferred
  • Experience with Epic Dashboards and Reports preferred
  • Travel up to 15%
