We have an exciting opportunity to join our corporate finance team as a Manager, Budget & Planning.

The Manager, Budget & Planning is responsible for assisting the AVP Budget & Planning with the following areas.

Primary Responsibilities:


Capital:

  • Capital Expenditure tracking and reporting
  • Review capital requests which includes confirmation of capital vs operating treatment of project costs and evaluation of pro formas submitted to support growth initiatives
  • Perform monthly review of capital spend and update capital forecast
  • Reconcile capital spend to cash flows prepared by Corporate Accounting
  • Prepare quarterly capitalized interest entries
  • Oversee the Capital Lookback process
  • Equipment Leases work with facilities to complete FAS 13 testing to determine capital vs operating treatment
  • Work closely with facility, division office, and IT capital requestors including training on request process
  • Identify and implement process improvements.

Corporate Budget / Forecasting:

  • Direct involvement and preparation of the Corporate Department budgets.
  • Monthly review and forecasting for Corporate departments.

Budget:

  • Assist AVP with annual operating and capital budget review and reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5 + years of accounting and management experience required
  • Certified Public Accountant designation

Preferred Experience:

Experience in public accounting, healthcare, and corporate office environments
