We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team.

The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Vice President, Marketing. This position will manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of integrated projects defined within the marketing plan to include product and service development, segmentation and competitive research, collateral and channel distribution, direct marketing, advertising, electronic and print media, web content development, and internal integration to support the growth and expansion of company products and services.

The Marketing Coordinator develops reports based on information collected such as marketing trends, competition, new products, and pricing as well as return on investment. The successful candidate will perform a variety of multi-step tasks simultaneously and will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected, along with expert writing and editing skills.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serves as lead marketing strategist for assigned area and/or specific enterprise-wide projects.
  • Writes and edits for a variety of publications including business letters, newsletters, brochures, press releases, fact sheets, print ads, direct mail, along with web and other social media, among others.
  • Supports the creation, execution and monitoring of the annual marketing plan and budget.
  • Responsible for managing and overseeing marketing strategies to meet measurable business and brand objectives.
  • Coordinates all details for a variety of special events.
  • Tracks and maintains reports on return on investment (ROI) for marketing initiatives and projects.
  • Attends and participates in professional meetings.
  • Participates on the web editorial team and works closely with the Ardent Shared Services digital and social media specialists to develop content and ideas for numerous campaigns.
  • Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge with fellow team members.
  • Tracks and meets budgets for assigned areas.
  • Ensures patient confidentiality in all aspects of job performance.
  • Helps improve processes and strategies for more effective outcomes.
  • Takes ownership of assignments and other duties as assigned.


Education: B.A. in Communications, Mass Media, Journalism, Marketing and/or related degree.

Experience: Two to three years in related field with strong emphasis on writing and editing. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Technical Abilities: Proficient in all Microsoft Office software with an emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint.
