We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Warehouse Analyst to join our Decision Support team.


The Senior Data Warehouse Analyst is charged with the creation and maintenance of existing reporting functions of AHS’ data warehouse, including all data validations of the Data Warehouse elements. The successful candidate will support the Company’s BI strategy by integrating new developments into existing enterprise reporting solutions. This position should be skilled in BI best practices, assessments, business processes, in-depth data analysis, requirements gathering, data modeling, relational and multi-dimensional databases.  This position is a high profile, fast paced position that regularly works with senior company leaders.


Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; must have a HR/Finance/Accounting/Business background
  • 4+ years’ work experience with databases and HR metric reporting background
  • Decision support/Data Analysis experience
  • Experience with Lawson databases
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing, data marts, and implementation projects
  • Experience in producing management reporting
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing data validations and exception reporting

Additional Requirements:

  • SAS or other analytical programming languages
  • Understanding of  medical coding and clinical terminology
  • Strong understanding of relational databases
  • Advanced skill set in Microsoft Excel
  • Enjoys supporting end users
  • Great attention to details
  • Conceive, design, and publish standard reports and analyses that answer core business questions
  • Develop and deliver both oral and written communications on key findings, conclusions, and recommendations that are tailored to the appropriate audience
  • Problem solving skills
  • Action-orientated with the ability to meet deadlines and turnaround requests in short order
  • Needs to be comfortable with a fast-paced environment, have a high sense of urgency, be adept at multi-tasking, a self-starter and be comfortable with ambiguity
  • Experience in Business Objects WebI, SAS, Hyperion Essbase, Oracle products preferred
  • Able to travel (15%)
