We have an exciting opportunity to join our accounting team as a Senior Financial Systems Analyst.

The Senior Financial Systems Analyst will report to the Manager, Corporate Accounting.  The Analyst will work with the Manager to expand, improve, and maintain the use of Oracle PBCS and Oracle Hyperion Essbase and Planning; including testing new system implementations and enhancements, maintaining systems and set-up, training and supporting end users, and creating Financial Reports. End user support includes working with CFOs, Controllers and their staffs at each of our facilities, plus those same stakeholders at the Corporate Office.

Essential Duties

  • Work with end users to determine detailed business needs and best practices to be applied
  • Identify areas within accounting and finance where increased automation and reliance on system controls will lead to efficiencies
  • Maintain metadata for PBCS, Essbase and Planning including rollup changes, accounts, departments and other items
  • Provide ongoing support to end users on PBCS, Essbase, and Planning
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance and operation of PBCS, Essbase, and Planning
  • Assist with other projects as required
  • Monitor the help desk ticketing system and test functionality of the system
  • Validate the accounting for items that are being tested/implemented
  • Communicate to users and team in a concise,  effective, and timely manner regarding potential issues, status updates, and other matters
  • Create, update, and test reports based on the needs of the business using Financial Reporting Studio or other applications including Oracle Smart View
  • Comfortable working in dynamic and constantly changing environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree OR Year for Year related experience
  • 3+ years of experience implementing or using  Oracle PBCSEssbase and  Planning
  • 7+ years of experience in accounting/finance
  • Advanced organizational skills, work ethic, delivery, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Advanced analytical and judgment skills with the ability to learn quickly, and work with little or no supervision
  • Advanced communication skills, both written and oral
  • Advanced experience with MS Excel

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 5+ years of experience implementing or using  Oracle PBCSEssbase and  Planning
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting/finance
  • Experience with Oracle Hyperion products or similar technology
  • Knowledge of healthcare finance
  • Knowledge of SAS and/or scripting tools (Windows, MAXL, XML, etc)
