OUR POSITION: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Director, Application Delivery.

Position Summary:

The responsibility of the Director, Application Delivery is to provide leadership and direction in the implementation delivery process for all financial related software applications.  Serve as the technical lead and liaison for Human Resources, Finance and Supply Chain related to onboarding all new business opportunities and system integrations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manages project implementations team and ensures that the team follows and executes delivery methods for project success.
  • Collaborates with business users, technologist, developers, and application support teams to provide direction on system analysis, design, development, testing and deployment.
  • Participates as key stakeholder on all acquisition related implementation projects. Managing Day1 activities through implementation onto Ardent’s related financial systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple implementations projects
  • Project Lead initiatives and communicates with business stakeholders on risk, issues and status.
  • Enforces project deadlines and schedules and mitigates risk appropriately 
  • Consistently delivers high-quality services to business stakeholders.
  • Oversees the communication activities in coordination with business stakeholders and IT&S management team.
  • Delivers informative, well-organized presentations.
  • Prioritizes and resolves issues.
  • Provides ongoing oversight of technical and functional support related to implementation /project deliverables. 
  • Provides leadership and technical guidance to identify system deficiencies and gaps along with adequate solutions.
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders to introduce innovative solutions.
  • Develops and fosters relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Manages business stakeholder expectations effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or graduate degree
  • 10+ years of management experience
  • 5 + years of Lawson system experience
  • Self-motivated, quick and assertive
  • Extremely detailed oriented and organized
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Cool, calm, collected and collaborative work well under pressure and comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments. Can shift readily between the "big picture" and the small-but-crucial details, knowing when to concentrate on each.
  • Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals.
  • Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.
  • Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
  • Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk.
  • Manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them. Clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project, VISO, Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Stays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars.
