OUR POSITION: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Vice President of Facilities Management.

The Vice President of Facilities Management supports the delivery of operational and strategic objectives by reducing facility costs and improving productivity, driving efficiencies, revenue generating capacity and image of the entire organization and provides a safe and efficient working environment which is essential to the performance of our hospitals. This position will be in charge of planning and executing long term facility plans, as well as ensuring compliance with internal, local, state, and federal guidelines and safety standards.

Responsibility includes oversite of all activities to maintain appropriate operational standards, and meet all code and safety requirements. This position is responsible for the oversite of planning, coordinating, initiating and supervising construction projects for the campus, ensuring all projects are completed in a timely manner and conform to plan specifications and codes. This individual is accountable to maintain the facilities in compliance with national, state and local code as well as Joint Commission. 



  • Bachelor’s Degree is required; Master’s Degree is preferred
  • CHFM, Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager or CHC, Certified Healthcare Constructor preferred.


  • Ten (10) years of experience in Facilities and Plant Operational / Maintenance at Joint Commission (TJC) and/or DNV Accredited hospital with multi-hospital experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated experience serving as an effective facilities leader within a large healthcare system.
  • Experience with development and control of an operating budget for a multi-hospital facilities operations.
  • Must have an excellent working knowledge of state and local codes as well as an extensive background in TJC and/or DNV codes and standards.
  • Professional expert with the ability to effectively articulate progressive positions and strategies.
  • Flexible, dedicated professional with an ability to gain trust of leadership and team members within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience effectively developing and implementing strategy, in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels of the organization; requires self-confidence but also respect for others, regardless of position.
  • Demonstrated experience in construction project management, installation and maintenance of equipment, maintenance of building and grounds and utility system is necessary.
